Which TV?

I just bought this for 540,

Samsung LED TV, Samsug UE40D5520RK however i have just seen this:

PANASONIC VIERA TX-P42UT30B 42” Full HD Plasma 3D TV with two FREE pairs of 3D glasses

Which TV is better in terms of quality? Shall i return the samsung and get the panasonic?

Is it worth sacrificing the 3D and the extra 2 inches for LED?

Hard to say, I have the 55" Samsung, and against my plasma the picture quality is crisper, plus it has the anynet aspect (as I have samsung home cinema system), however my plasma is 5 years old (although still pretty good)

3D (for me) is just another fad and something I'm not really interested in, however for the price the plasma does look a good deal. It's a personal choice to be fair over how much you value the need for 3D, and the one 3D channel or the need to invest in something else to play 3D.
