Whats the best sofware to back up comp

There is load of files i need from my comp but some are just crap

Whats the best software to use to back up onto dvd rw,

I need to back up my comp and laptop

without a doubt - norton ghost ..................it can be
launched from hiren's boot cd etc - but will back-up
an entire drive or partition - including boot sector
etc - you have to back-up to either a 2nd hard drive
or partition initially - but then you can write the
ghost image file out to dvd or cd .................
i have used it many times in the past - saves hours
re-installing software etc..................
