Tom Tom in car cradle

Tom Tom 3 software.

Paid approx £350 over 18 months ago, works superb.

i have 2 XDAII's runing windows mobile 2003 OS, one is an egyptian import called a himalaya and the other is the o2 branded one Both are PH10B though. i want to wipe all the o2 crap off the one and hopefully get it running WM5

the himalaya is running tomtom 3 (cracked) and the o2 is running tomtom 5 with a pornstar voice lol, both are unlocked to any network (if you want the file shout) and the o2 one got a vodafone PAYG sim and the other is on orange PAYG, theyre used for net access only and the thousands of free texts that come with them.

my gps reciever is a wiredeont so charges whichever one im using, both have their own 256M mmc for everyday stuff as well as a 128M SD card for backups

for the whole lot ive paid about £200

I have got LOOX pocket PC with navigon 4 It has a bluetooth receiver and is window mounted. It works very well although is prone to some very odd direction choices!!

I have a hp ipaq hw6500 running tomtom3 cracked blue tooth enabled ans 1g SD card.
When i put tom tom 3 on it caused some probs, eg sound is set to off, cant reset to default , cant hear a bally thing; and media player doesnt work. Also camera has stopped working as well
any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi hall

I'm running thee following.
MDA T-Mobile,with 256 mb,Tom Tom 5.21(crack ) ,Bluetooth GPS receiver (Long Navigation time up to 30 hrs)Acquires 16 satellites all view tracking and ultra low power consumption,it works fine no problems what so ever.
In total I spend around £70 +the mob worth it every Penny.
The only thing I need know is the maps for Spain I'm going soon on Holiday and if any body have then I'm interested.

Dell Axim X3, 1G SD Card with TomTom 5 on, shit loads of stupid voices (only use Joanna Lumley) Latest camera database off this forum. Not very happy with flimsy cradle and GPS plug.

Why do u need the change of aerial, me mate lives in Norge and I aint took it there yet, do I need one too.

you don't need a different aerial, it's just that my Haicom aerial is permanently fitted to my car. I have a compact flash sleeve with a compact flash aerial that is handy for travelling. Also works on planes!! See here!

But gets used as a paper weight most of the time.
