Im new to all of this but i have 2 pc's 1 downstairs and 1 upstairs at a comp shop there is a kit for £100 (2 cards lead software) 100mb a sec trasfer rate.<br />Is this good?

Without knowing what size hub its hard to say, but its probably 4 or 5 ports so I think its a little pricey m8.

But if you only want to link two PC's, you dont need a hub.<br />Just the network cards, and a crossover cable that plugs into the cards.
