CD & DVD wave to mp3 question

can someone tell me are mp3 file;s smaller than wave files ? .I have saved some cd;s to disk useing nero but it saves them in wave form but they take up a lot of space on my hard drive . Would i be better to save them in mp3 form ?. If so how do i save cd;s in mps form with nero ? many thanks

You should be saving as data and not audio. If you are using the standard Nero version then choose ISO. If its Nero Express then choose Data.

u could use a program called music match juke box its very east to use and even comes with built in writing software.
