Need this for my son's room as his Is on the blink again, its one of the first ps2s and its becoming quite a pain getting this fixed every few weeks.... and all his games are, well you know.

why dont you try putting a harddrive in less wear on the laser only needs to be able to read a ordinary ps1 disc to boot up will work even if it cant read dvds. Worth a go!!!

hi my son has a modded ps2 that he no longer plays with.its been sitting on his desk for about two months now that he got his psp he hasnt touched the ps2. its in excellent condition, laser is in good condition and its fitted with messiah 2 pro. i think its a v4 but ill confirm that in the morning.will also put some pics up in the morning.let me now if your intrested.

I actually ended up getting one, swapped my U2 ipod for one, the wee man's constant maoning was getting unbrearable lol.
