VU+ Duo Vu duo and xbmc

Hi guys,
Got xbmc picking up my vu duo, works and everything, but each time I use it it scans the channels from the box. Is there any way I can save the list in xbmc to avoid the waiting period each time?

I've got this working, but channel changing speed is terrible, looking into how I can solve this

Just an update, this works seamlessly, apart from the channel changes with can take a long time, apparently it's to do with a codec so I'm completely atumped anyone tried open elec? Would this use the same codecs?
