Enables Skype on your home phone via your pc

Please note the included free SKYPE out call voucher has expired

uConnect takes the analogue signal from your traditional phone and converts it into digital data for transmission over the Internet. You'll ideally need Broadband to get the best from uConnect and it goes without saying that your computer has to be switched on to take advantage of the VoIP function.

Your phone will work just as it always did, but pressing the * key twice will immediately activate Skype.

VoIP voice recognition and speed dialling are features and you'll even get a nifty caller display feature telling you if you're getting an inbound Skype call and who it's from: 'S' for Skype followed by their Skype username. Simple to use: Dial ** on your phone, and the Skype application appears on screen.

Hear the voice prompt "Who would you like to Skype..?" Dial the Skype contact name using the numbers on your phone keypad or Dial the telephone number from your phone to make a low rate SkypeOut call. If your phone has caller display you will see the name of the Skype contact calling you.

Use your everyday phone to make your regular calls, SkypeOut calls and free Skype to Skype calls.

*PLEASE NOTE THE UCONNECT DOES NOT WORK ON VISTA OR WINDOWS 7*
  • Connects to the PC by USB
  • RJ11 connector for regular telephones
  • Exceptional audio: natural sounding telephone call

  • Application Integration: dial direct from the everyday phone to the PC application
  • Powered by the USB, the PC sound card is free for other multimedia
  • Connect cordless phones and benefit from wireless calls
  • USB type B connector
  • 1 x Line Cable to connect to phone line
  • Drivers as standard: Windows 98, Windows 98 ME, Windows 2000, Windows XP
