i have got this media player on a windows 7 laptop.
i have been using it for playing video from my tm500 super satellite receiver
is there a way to record from this media player to pc?

update guys.
when playing vlc media.
click view,click advanced controls.
that brings up the other features and the red circle record button.
hit the red button once and vlc starts to record onto hdd.
hit red circle record again to stop recording.
once it has stopped if you click media,open file,you will see your recording.
right click and click rename.
rename it so you will recognise what you recorded.
then highlight it and press open .
job done,playing back your recording.
if you have vlc streaming on iphone you can now transfere/stream direct to your iphone
