my vista ultimate has just messed up so i tried to do a restore on acronis true image but know it says i need my installation disc to repair i had made a recovery disc with vista but it does nothing i have my key written on it can i just get another vista ultimate disc and repair

yes m8 any copy of vista will work
i have put in a vista disc but when it says press any key to boot dvd the keyboard does nothing what ever key i press if i put my acronis boot disc in it loads but i can not use the mouse for options but on the startup screen keyboard works i can press delete and a menu comes up with pc health bios settings and by the way the error is winload.exe corrupt or missing
is your keyboard and mouse usb by any chance, is so go into bios and make sure usb support is turned on.
