i just downloaded novelties from misc and it has 2 virus on it but my pc-cillin wont get rid can anyone help please cheers

i got the same download, but my norton anti virus did not spot anything. are you sure its not part of one of the pranks?(in the progs).<br />what was the name of the virus?

i will find out what IP uploaded it and check the IP with posts to find out the person... it could have been a mistake or accident but its to make sure the same person dont upload anymore virii to the board.

and also i used nortan 2002 to check it and it found nothing ???

Get this guys.A few weeks ago a set of virus definitions mistakeingly said that there was a virus on the windows 98 backup i have on my hard drive.I triple checked it and it came up 3 times.When i emailed Sysmantec they replied saying it was a false alarm in the definitions and would be remedied with the new update.So don't get too worried fella it may be a false alarm.Bye for now carl! <img src="wink.gif" border="0">
