Use isp unblock that gives you kas, tpb ect virgin seem to be blocking a lot these days

if you use firfox, there's a nice add on called annoymous.

It puts a button on your address bar.

you simply switch it on to access these sites, but best to switch off for general browsing as it slows your connection down...

I use chrome and downloaded a wee app/add on called zen mate and all is well again. give it a whirl mate

For using torrent sites I've switched over to using the pirate bay browser. It's basically firefox and tor combined. With tor there's no messing with free proxy lists etc... it just connect to their own network and works. Totally free.

Because virgin wont let you onto the bay here's a link to the file, just unzip it and run.

i must admit i have been using chrome with zenmate for those pesky blocked sites, it is useful too if you want to watch something on any of the US sites like Hulu and you get the "you cant watch that from your geographical location message"
