Whats is a decent to good read/write speed for a usb stick ?

Ive read people saying thats not good enough and its slow but what is a good speed ?

:)

Thats a good point m8. I allways look at price never think about the speed would be intrested in this myself

I just wondered what rea/write speeds were classed as Slow, OK, Fast
all mine are 2.0 I think

reason I ask is I was going to transfer data from the Wii U to a large USB stick (saves and downloaded games) but wanted a decent speed for them to run/load :)

I do have a USB 3.0 :)
anyway I donr 3 tests on the biggest USB sticks I have
32GB/64GB are 7Day Shop own brand
16GB is Cruzer
:) hover over image to see what is what stick

slow, fast or average ?

:)

max i can get out of a usb2 port is about 30mbps and thats with class 10 micro sd
but its not all about the drive its somewhat to do with the pc and processes running at the same time

I often use USB pendrive beacuse of my job, and most of them reach a 5MB/s in writing. I'm talking about the USB 2.0, never tryed a 3.0 yet

simalar situation i needed 10x plus micro sd for gopro 3 camera 32gig size was surprised to find the different speeds available but did not surprise me on the price difference.
