i was about to pay for this today and luckly came across the software.
check out the main thread, few others have confirmed working

Are you sure its actually unlocking the card for other sims ?

Remember that if the dongle has a '3' sim inserted then it will say unlocked anyway !

hmm, this appears to be a slightly later version than the one that was available a few days ago - cant imagine them passing up the chance to make some money !

haven't even touched the 3 sim that came with.
i'm using an o2 sim on this dongle after using the unlocking s/w which is done without any sim inserted!

The site still claims its going to be 15 credits even with that new client.

Did you check that the dongle was locked ?

Maybe there's a batch of them that are unlocked for some reason.

The client is available directly from the site btw, so no need to use upload sites - assuming it is actually the DC-unlocker program you've got !

also note that after unlocking the model changes from MF627 to MF626

hmm, I wonder if something strange is happening - like the dongle is locked by '3' the first time it goes online via '3'. Perhaps they come unlocked by default.

There's certainly nothing mentioned on the dc-unlocker site about the new client giving free unlocks for that particular device.

that would be strange....as said the 3 sim is still not touched or used

all i did was....
insert dongle into usb slot and let it install the 3 software/drivers
then launched flashupdate to unlock / re-flash - takes around 18-20mins
removed dongle, inserted o2 sim
uninstalled 3 software/drivers
check with dc-unclocker client and said model was mf626 (not 627) and unlocked
inserted dongle with o2 sim back into usb slot - didn't allow it to install global software that it tried to install, instead installed telstra connection manager as suggested

ah, it looks like its completely reflashing the device.

I guess you ran the program and then used the dc-unlocker program to verify. That had me fooled as I thought you were using the dc-unlocker to actually do the unlock.

Do you still have the same imei after the procedure as you did before ?

Original should be marked on the dongle body

yes re-flashed dongle first with no sim inserted
then checked dc-unlocker with o2 sim inserted
and yes imei is still the same as before it was re-flashed
