tuxvision problems

ok have installed tuxvision and it connects ok to dbox and retrieves channel list etc

have a nice black screen though

clicking preview gives a result of "unable to start preview ! (PID-Trouble?,try again!)

rather confusing for ickle me

have also installed bitcontrol quad recorder which with a simple input of the dbox ip captures and displays the current channel no prob at all

was just hoping someone could explain why tuxvision wont work ?

Have you tried installing tRex BEFORE using TuxVision?

It contains several DLL files which are needed for TuxVision to work properly.
You can get tRex here: http://www.dbox2.info/download.php?fileID=86

Note that you dont actually use the tRex software; you just INSTALL IT. Then you try again with TuxVision.

If it works then the reason why TuxVision didnt work properly is missing dependancies

yeh trex is/was on when i was playing with tuxvision

even have windows mediaplayer able to playback channels from box now (guessing thats becuse i have bitcontrol stuff installed)
