tuner problem

My dm500 works great with commando 15 image but after about 1 hour it freezes on one channel
The picture and everything works OK but you cant change to another channel. If you do the box loses all its settings and you get nothing but menus and no picture.
To me it seems like the tuner is faulty anybody think of a cure for this or is it terminal? Ive reflashed it with different images but it does the same...

Just wondering if its over heating mate.

Take lid off and run it see if you have same issue.

it does get a bit hot (I've known hotter) and yes I've run it without the lid but still same
