A new multi-million pound advertising campaign launches today for Top Up TV, with thirty-second adverts for the subscription DTT service running on Channel 4, Five, GMTV and some digital channels.

The ads, featuring Warwick Davis as the Top Up TV gnome, will run through to Christmas.

"Going on analogue terrestrial TV will give us additional reach of Freeview customers who wish to upgrade their existing incompatible box for a 'box with a slot' in time for Christmas," said Matt Seaman, Top Up TV's sales and marketing director.

Hey thanks,

But i don't see that top up tv will be big.. not just because it has crap channels but on the matter of trust..

I don't think the consumers will trust a pay digital service via an ariel simply because of the ITVDIG thing.. and personally i have tried TOP UP TV and its crap..
