My mate's asked me to update his unit for him, ideally he'd like a NW Europe map on. Navcore is 7.522 so just checking my best method is connect to TT Home, let it update the navcore then find the latest compatible map (& crack it) for the version of navcore? Just asking if that's the best method?

Also unit seems to have only 800mb of memory, will I be able to find a recent NW Europe map & navcore to fit on?
Best place to find maps etc now? Used to use navitotal but looks like they're having issues, torrents or nzb's a decent alternative?
Finally once I've got an updated navcore & compatible map, Muppetproof keygen still best method for unlocking?

Been a while since I volunteered myself to look at one of these so any advice appreciated.

edit: it's really a French & UK map he'd like on there, just found a 'France_v855.2931' on a hard drive I have, anybody point me to a compatibility map to see if I can just add (& crack it) please?

Just for info I think I'm gonna quit while I'm ahead on this. I connected to TomTom Home & updated navcore to 8.010. The original UK map on the unit & the 'France_v855.2931' one I had are both compatible with 8.010 so just used FastActivate to unlock the France map on the unit & he can switch between the maps. Kinda limited in the maps he can have as it's a 1gb unit with no SD card slot.
