I'm picking up my ipad2 later today and was wondering what the advantages of jailbreaking it would be ?

Any advise would be appreciated. T.I.A.

The avantage mate to jailbreaking 1.Free Apps, Tweak, Themes, its all personal choice .

Damn. it's on 4.3.5 so i believe it can't be jailbroken yet. It's the 3g + wifi
yes it can be jailbroken mate , but its a tethered jailbreak, which means if you have to reboot, turn off, or let the battery die , you will need redsn0w again to boot tethered and youll be back to normal again , look at this guide with links to what you will need

One thing i've always wondered, as i've never had a tethered jailbreak, if you do reboot the device will you lose all your cydia / installous apps? do they stay on the springboard? but maybe you just cant run them? or do they dissapear?

i had tethered jailbreak on my iphone you don't lose cydia / installous apps all as it was it is a pain but untill untethered out it will do
