currently have a dreambox 800 hd for sky and a tecnomate 5200 for my wife to watch hotbird, she hates using dreambox so have it on loop through, was looking to change to one reciever that my wife can use and i can have ccam but also have rf out so i can run a cable to my bedroom, what is the difference tm2t and twin-oe and will either fit my needs

there are not too many differences between the 2, price obviously, tmt2 will only take 2.5" hard drive but both are fundamentally the same, if you can afford it go for the TMtwin-oe very wife friendly and kids also

my dreambox has a 2.5" drice will that still fit into tmtwin

The vent holes at the bottom are just right pitch to fit the 2.5 HDD screws. Cable is a snug fit. Have a look around, some retailers sell the Twin with a 3.5 HDD for £250.

Both the Twin and 2T have RF out. However, only the Twin has loop out for the LNB on port 1.
