If you buy a motorised dish then you get more choice but the two main sats are 13E and 19E.

13 E and 19.2 E r satellite positions
13 E is hotbird and 19.2 E is astra
what the old sky was on
dont get the 1500 ci they r discontiued now
the same equivilent is the 5400
but 5300 or 5200 will do

For the satellite listings at 19.2E and 13E look at h**p://www.lyngsat.com/europe.html, it gives the locations and listing of the current euro satellites.

Dreambox is superb or any other linux based box.
has easy connectivity( pc, internet, etc.) therefore very flexible.
not very expensive.
