Despite avoiding the rush-hour traffic in York, picking up the park-n-ride and being into the National Rail Museum at York early doors there's still a load of people here!

You can see Mrs M in that one - she's the one in the check shirt who can't see a thing 'cos she's only 5' lol

Could have been worse - when we came out queueing time was over an hour!

We went there a few weeks ago at half term, they had Dwight in hall also then :)

We also went for a ride on the Rocket Replica, it's one of the best museums in the country. The size of the Chinese locomotive always amazes me :)ImageUploadedByTapatalk 21373489123.290114.jpg

For anyone who's interested, they go into steam when the schools chuck out so next week. The Rocket replica will be running amongst others.

Its amazing not one is wearing an anorak...............:Jester:

That Union of South Africa has run on the track at the bottom of my Garden not long ago. They started up the track for steam passenger trains a couple of year ago again and the steam trains used to pass my garden every Saturday and Sunday morning but they've had to pack in the regular ones and its only specials from now on.
