Saw it at the pics having read the books and watched the original Swedish version (rather than the extended BD version that only came out a couple of months ago).

Slightly tamer than the Swedish version, well as tame as it can be with 3 rape scenes, and didn't seem as perilous at the mid point or climax. However, I had watched the Swedish version only 3 days prior but had read the books last summer, so it could just be it was fresher in my mind going into the English version. Score seemed a little mismatched in places, but we were getting bass bleed through from the screen next door

Still worth the watch though.

The English language version of Played with Fire is currently slated for a late 2013 release but is expected to film back to back with Hornets' Nest.

I watched it last night. Thought it was pretty good. Very dark in some places so be warned if you're expecting the usual stuff.
