I think the years 3 and 4g came out, some virus materialised. (Apparently) 
Some people seem obsessed about it at the moment. I don’t get the connection tbh.
They're a bunch of nutters. Was reported there was a "secret" message on the new £20 note linking 5g and the coronavirus. Some have even said there is no pandemic and it has been invented so the Government can secretly install 5g whilst we are all in lockdown.
I would love the email address of each and every one of those believers. I would then forward the porn blackmail email I received this morning to them and just wait for the money to pour in.
EDIT....just thought @Spectre, that spectrum analyser at your place of work would soon prove the 5g transmissions are non-ionising and unable to make any changes to our dna. Any chance I could borrow it.

whole sorry mess and I happened to say to the wife yesterday morning that I cant believe a fecking idiot eating a
bat for his tea has brought the whole world to it's knees in the matter of a couple of months, and lo and behold
chris tarrant says the exact same thing a couple of hours later, this virus is as far as I'm concerned is weapon grade,
how the hell 3 and a half weeks into lock down are we still reporting another 3 to 4 thousand new cases every day?

I believe the virus is behaving and multiplying like any other virus would be expected to. Some people are quicker to show symptoms than others and some may show none at all, yet still be able to infect others.
Idiots are still ignoring advice and spreading it also.
I reckon it's just a long existing animal virus which has evolved to spread to humans. A natural process which could well have been underway for several decades or longer. The fact that it appears to have first happened in China could be down to their eating habits or could just be coincidental given that China has the largest population on Earth.
I love listening to conspiracy theories and would hate for them to go away and miss all the entertainment. But for day to day general knowledge I prefer to listen to the facts. No doubt we will have all of these when the virus is beaten.

These theories have been around for many years, but in different forms. Im sure you've all had experience with chain letters for instance, or urban legends. They're just online now, and with technology it's easier to spread quickly and effectively. Anti-vaxx is another, these will always be around, you've just got to look at all the available information and make a decision, as informed as you can.

I remember reading a story online a couple of days ago that said the US State Department raised concerns in 2018 about the safety protocols in a virology lab in Wuhan which was near the seafood market the Chinese officials said the covid-19 outbreak began.
The US inspectors back in 2018 said that the lab had found the colony of bats involved in the SARS virus from 2002 and was working on that virus, and it is the same lab that "confirmed" the current covid-19 virus came from bats in February.
Also the US official expressed worry that the virus would be released from the lab ether by accident or in biowaste. The US offered help to make the lab safer but it was declined.
Some US politicians believe that the current virus was released as a bioweapon by the Chinese, probably from that lab.
The Chinese government claims the virus was transmitted to humans in a Wuhan wet market. While that market did not sell bats, it is possible that other animals could have been infected from the virus via bats. But The Lancet published a report in January that shows neither the first known human patient nor more than one-third of the cases in the first large cluster had actual connections to the market.
Some Chinese officials are saying that the US army brought the virus to Wuhan to spread it.
But like most things in this world we, the voting public, will never know the truth.
