Hi all.

I have been having some troubles with my scooter in the last few weeks.

It seems to start fine, and runs great for about 2 or 3 minutes. Then if I go anything above 25 mph the engine loses power, then gains it, then loses it etc etc.
It sounds like the engine is dying, then it recovers.

I don't really know very much about motorbikes, so I have no idea what might be going wrong. I have tried taking out the seat bucket to see in the engine if there is anything obvious, but I can't really identify any of the parts of the engine, let alone see if anything is wrong with it. :err:

It has plenty of fuel and 2 stroke oil, so I don't think its that.

Any suggestions for a motorbike repair novice before I drag it to the garage please?

I'd check the carb first m8, could be something simple like a dirty main or needle jet not letting through enough fuel for high reves.
