Hey all,
after moving house to a none V1gin area i have sadly lost some great tv
at the mo we have min package to sky and a humax hd box

as of yet i dont think you can do much with the humax bar what it is made for

so i would like some info in the tecnomate please

#1, at the mo i just have the sky dish i guest pointing to Astra
what benefit would i get from a tecnomate at the moment if any..?


#2 if i add a motorized dish is it just one patch or several i need, i here some have gone nagra 3
so dose this mean loads of the chans have now gone..?

#3 witch is the unit to go for as theres several to choose from


last thing any one no how to watch the darts on sky sports what
i mean is are any of the patch sports you can get covering the darts as well

1) You would gain nothing
2) Digi tv on 1 west open and has live EPL
3) One of the TM 5000 super series or TM6900 if you want HD and Pos sharing.


The darts is often shown on various satellites as feeds from Sky sports and all that is missing is the commercial break adverts.

You will need a bigger dish at least 80cm for 1 west.

so is it worth it..? or is it all going nagra 3 in a few month and then point less

it will take me a few month to sort it all out ie: i could buy the box one month and dish and motor next, how long do you think there is letf on this


or am i just talking crap and need a :slaps:

Nothing is guaranteed unless you buy a proper subscription.

Packages could be open for years or days, you just don't know.

So, you should always edge your bets and get a motorised dish (if you can have one)

That way, if packages become open, you can turn your dish to them.

Before you ask...

How big a dish? As big as you can afford and get away with.
People with a 80cm want a 1m.People with 1m want a 1.6m. etc......

The only other ways if you want a particular package, but don't want to have a motorised dish is:

• Subscribe to it officially
• Go the cardsharing route.
