Routers Technicolor TG582N & Kinex broadband

A friend of mine broke this router and he is on kinex broadband. I tried to use the hub5 but have found out bt lock them so can't be used with other providers..

Ive got a replacement tg582n coming from eBay in the next few days...

We took his other tg582n from his second home and it worked fine. I tried to login to that hub but could not get it at all. Tried blank blank for username password, tried admin admin, tried Administrator blank. Admin serial.

Anybody know how to login to these hubs...?

Also does anyone know anything about kinex broadband, are they a product of talk talk?

Hello!

I would suggest trying the following:
- Reset the router via the push-button
- Clear the cache of the browser
- then try logging into it again
- any logo on it or the wifi key may help in identifying the original ISP for the router ... this info can be used to determine the default username and password

As far as usage for your own ISP is concerned, it can vary a lot as there are different variants as well as different restrictions by different ISPs!
