I've got an Intel NUC mini PC it's only got a 32gb SSD in it with about 5gb spare. I want to upgrade to a bigger SSD. If I use a usb adapter and clone my SSD to a new 1 can I then just swap them over or is it a bit more complicated than that?

Thanks
Sean

I did this last week and worked fine.

Used aomei backupper (use clone option) and aoemi partition assistant (both free editions). Yes swap them over and should be good to go.

Cheers. I'll have a look for a new SSD and adapter after work and give it a go 👍

My laptop had an empty m.2 slot so bought 240gb m.2 cloned to it, changed boot order and now m.2 is the boot disk and old disk is a 2nd drive.

Worked a treat, easier than I thought. Nice new 128gb SSD installed up n running 👍
