Spurs v Bolton - Fabrice Muamba

Tottenham Hotspur footballer Fabrice Muamba is in a stable condition

I wish the press would get facts right before trying to be the first to post. Very good news he's in stable condition. Can't even begin to imagine what him and his poor family have just been through. 23 and fit as fook!

no his condition has worsened , he is now critical again , in ICU ! doesnt look good , im gutted , bolton is a quiet place to be at the moment

Bolton's Fabrice Muamba remains in a critical condition in intensive care at the London Chest Hospital.

The midfielder, 23, was taken to the heart attack centre at the hospital after collapsing during Saturday's FA Cup quarter-final tie at Tottenham.

A joint statement from the club and hospital on Sunday said: "As is normal, he remains anaesthetised in intensive care and will be for at least 24 hours.

"His condition continues to be closely monitored by the cardiac specialists."

Bolton manager Owen Coyle added: "Fabrice's family have asked me to pass on their thanks for the many, many kind messages of support from not only Bolton fans but also fans from clubs across the country and abroad.

"All our thoughts and prayers are for Fabrice and his family at this time. The family would also like to thank the media for respecting their privacy at this time."

Coyle had earlier said: "It's very serious. There's no getting away from that. God willing, he makes it through."

Medics spent six minutes trying to resuscitate the former England under-21 international on the field after he fell to the ground with no other players around him.

Just see on the news he went to the same School as my brother did kelmscott. Good to see all of the support from the footie fans, well done.

Some stupid cow on FB said he had died earlier; not that it's the place for news, but it's like Jesus Christ Woman read, then post.

It was shocking to say the least.

I have to give the spurs fans massive credit they was cheering on the resuscitation. Willing him on!

I really hope he pulls through!

My thoughts with the family, I know how hard it can be when you are waiting for a loved one to wake up from ICU.
