Ok heres my PC specs:
Asus A8v-MX
AMD 3200+ 64 Bit running at stock 2.0ghz
1.5gb ddr400 ram running at stock too
Asus N6200 Graphics card 128MB
300GB IDE HDD

Laptop specs
Pentium M 1.7Ghz
1GB DDR400 ram
Shared 128 MB Graphics

Now the problem is, no matter what benchmark i run, the laptop seems to always perform better. i mean, superpi 1M on the laptop was 48 seconds whereas superpi 1M on the desktop was 50second!!

both the pc and laptop are newly formatted so no extra overclocks or anything. why would a p4m perform better than a 3200+ 64bit? this is puzzling me, is this just a pentium amd thing or would i need to upgrade my fans on the desktop or bios settings to make it faster?

plus what os r u using?

the pc is dual but running 32bit is only using 1 side if u know what i mean

2 sticks of ram. but superpi only calculates the capacity of the processor. i cant believe how a p4 m has outdone an amd 3200+. its rediculous. the clock speed is faster on the amd too.

even if it runs at 32 bit, the laptop is running at 32 bit as well, shouldnt a clock speed of 1.7 at fsb 400 run slower than 2.0ghz running at 800mhz?

also a side issue, how would i get it to run at 64bit? (stupid question probably lol)

Is it not the intels X9 core speed =Fsb and On the amd X5 And the reason the speed may dif.
