Pointless at the present time in my opinion. Why showcase something that isn't affordable by the majority of people.

Someone will buy one at £12k just so they can flaunt it then they will be ~£2k in a year.

Last time I watched 2001 A Space Odyssey I lost off about 45 minutes from the end, I was doing well until that point.

The last time something was released on a ridiculous format I think it was Das Boot on Laserdisc.

"what the hell you want to go around that river for?"
Because it's there!! Lol

I suppose a small child with perfect eyesight might get the benefit, bit I can't see past normsl HD, or hear past 128bps MP3's :)

I see a massive difference between HD and 4K but struggle between upscaled HD and 4K without a comparison.
