something other than microsoft office

i had something i used which if i remember was free (i think )it was instead of microsoft office and i cant for the luv of me mind what it was called it had spreadsheets and all that sort of thing in it ???

OpenOffice maybe? It's been around for ages and yes it is free to download.

Probably openoffice, but google now offer StarOffice for free with the google pack.

open office is good i've used it before but i prefer office 2007 its fantastic altho mabye not every1s cup of char?

another vote for openoffice here - as long as your not using any of the complex features of excel or VBA scripting it is pretty much 100% compatable - and its free too
