i know the history very well. though Palestine was a state invented by European powers, there was no, significant, population of Jews living there. if it is not Palestinian territory, it is Arab territory. and there is more to it than "who's land it is". the Illegal actions if the Zionist government of the state, call into question their "fitness" for statehood. underlining the problems of giving government to Terrorists. which is what the Zionist party was, before they were given this land. the only claim to the "land of Palestine" the Zionists have is the Bible. not normally known for its "accurate" depiction of history.

Palestine has never existed...as an autonomous entity. There is no language known as Palestinian. There is no distinct Palestinian culture. There has never been a land known as Palestine governed by Palestinians. Palestinians are Arabs, indistinguishable from Jordanians
There is no "Occupation" by the Israeli Government, the U.N. has labeled certain territories as "Disputed" (U.N. Resolution 242) The Palestinians are not mentioned anywhere in Resolution 242.
The West Bank (i.e.,Judea and Samaria) and Gaza are not occupied. Only Israel actually has an undisputed historic claim to these territories, with the Palestinian Arabs claiming without foundation that these lands are theirs. Jews have an a priori deep historic and emotional attachment to the land, as well as legal claims. It is natural for Jews to build homes in communities in these areas, just as Palestinian Arabs have always been permitted to.
The territory of the West Bank and Gaza Strip was captured by Israel in a defensive war. The Jordanian occupation of the West Bank from 1947 to 1967, by contrast, had been the result of an offensive war in 1948 and was never recognized by the international community, including the Arab states.

Did u bother to read my other posts? Sounds like you think Im pro muslim. Did you read the fact that I said "Israel are standing up against their muslim neighbours"? Probably not. Go to the states and tell me how much slating of Israel you hear. My personal belief is that the UN and Arab Nations should be the only force to try get peace into that region. But UN is nothing with America. And if you do read my other posts, you will see my feelings on the conflict in the middle east.

The "occupied territory's" are just that. the UN does not accept them as "disputed". only Israel tries to maintain the myth. indeed Israel is under a UN resolution calling for them to honour the 4th Geneva convention on Human rights, with regard to the treatment of people in Occupied Territory's.
as for the Jewish people having a traditional claim to the land we "should", call Palestine. what piffle. the only historical claim goes back to 600ad, or so. and that was thanking the Muslims for helping against the rule of Byzantine, so even then, they did not Rule the land.

Guys, I wonder why bother with history now. Anyone who wants land will somehow find a way to claim it. Im just thinking forget the past and try to live in peace now. Its just a pity people cant live that way.
