update on immersion heater switch, just got monthly bill for electric, and gas, whilst electric has remained the same, my gas bill has reduced from £45 down to £15 ,this is because boiler has not been on all month, now I know this is only a one off and only good for summer months , but I think it is a worthwhile saving, all hot water been supplied via solar panels and immersion heater
