Slingbox Classic problem

Hi,
I have a slingbox classic where the power light come on on powerup but the network light does not come on at any time. There is no network activity happening. Does anyone know of a way to reset theses boxs or reload the firmware?

Thanks, but pressing the reset button for 5 seconds dosen't do anything

This normally means your power supply has failed.
The Singbox Classic is pretty fussy on the power supply.
I got a new 'multi voltage' one off ebay, but it was a struggle to find one with sufficient amps.

I checked the voltage output with a meter and it read 6.14 volts. It is rated 6volts. Is there any other way of testing the power supply?

it's not the voltage it's the amps that will be down.
my universal ebay special puts out 2A at 6V, but most put out about 300mA which won't power up the network.
