Can you still get the flashbios screen with bank 2 selected?

yeah, the flashbios 3.0.3 screen is fine when bank 2 is selected, only with bank 1, it starts going nuts.

big massive thanks to bard for this 1,

i'd flashed the wrong bios to bank 1, where i should have flashed 2 x 265k to bank1, when i tried to flash it again with the correct one, it overwrote the wrong 1.

now got slayers ready to go..
