my m8 has a sky hd box(thompsons) but it has recently started to loose channels (ch5 movies 24 sky news ) to name a few, he asked me to have a look at it so i checked all connections did a reboot but no joy i had an old spare sky box so connected it up and all is fine.
i thought that if the other box was doing the same then problem solved its the lnb that needs replaced.
im not that clued up on the sat stuff so am i missing something like software updates or something else it gives epg but when you select the channel it says no satellite received thanks for any help on this guys.
