Hi lads i have had all the same problems but fortunatly i have managed to connect dreamup but when I send a file it says - calculating check sum......
And nothing else happens any ideas?
My problems all started from loading the wrong image in an original DB8000!
And got error CA not Found.

ok guys im running again
connected null cable and ethernet
clicked connect in dreamup
waited for error the entered ip
that was on lcd and in dreamup
took me into web flash page and
flashed using secondstage-dm800-69
this brung it back to life
then i used DE-133dv3PHOENIX-dm800-20092010_SIM1_2_BL70_OCP_v2 image.
that killed it again after putting image on i redone the secondstage-dm800-69
which booted the 70 image with a 69 bootloader.
but best of all it still has network support for cams.
evertything stuck back on and box is back on .

Glad ya up and running again m8. I just don't get why a sim 2.01 would not take a later bootloader. Something not right there surely. Wonder if it would be worth running it through the sim updater.
I bought a dm800 from a member on here which wouldn't take anything above bl72 which was running on sim2. Updated it to 2.01 and now running anything I wanna throw at it. I know you say it is sim 2.01 but I just wonder if updating it would sort it.

hey guys, I'm running the same image on a Dm800hd, no probs other than, I can't access the cccam info ?. When in the Dream Elite CCcam info setup,what settings should I have,
Host - should this be my dm ip ?

If you mean using ie you just leave them as default and type in ie

Yes you can change it in setup, hilite it then press green for virtual keyboard once you have done it hilite ok and ok it then red to save it.
