Will you be deleting old ones.

The system cycles every 28 days and the codes are different i.e. the pin for ViewerID=0123456 is different to last month when it was the "01" viewer ID (actually the VID should be 0123455 (last number is a checksum i.e. 0+1+2+3+4+5 = 15 = 5 )

23 = 133
24 = 768059132
25 = 9994
26 = 6521

So 0123455 would have pin 0573 (different you see to this months 01 - pin 2791)

I did in my post, where I gave the values for the last time we was on 01xxxxx. There is only one system, just the values change, so the codes entered to get it to work today won't be valid in 4 weeks when the same Viewer ID comes round again.
This really means whilst you are getting people to enter in each days codes, be aware you will need to be able to write over them the next time they come round.

The algo (value of ref field 23) last time 0xxxxxx was out (early May) was 133, and this week when we are back to 0xxxxxx its 123, and in 4 weeks time when the code comes round it'll be different again.

Hope its clear. I noticed in May when the codes were different from early April that it wasn't just a matter of logging a single months algorithms.

I think my understanding of ref23 is a little off... my understanding is that it tells you which algorithms to run... so 133 means run 1, then 3 and then 3 again?!

Well, it describes what to do with the following ref fields!!
e.g. says use 25 = 9994 as a shift.

You should know that thew vcg.mhg are hex files and so when a ref field is 4 decimals instead of 9 (i.e. a "2" or "3" instead of a "1") the remainder of the field is padded out and not used this time.

erm - well it just gave me a pin code of "88" and I certainly entered the correct pin :s

I was origanally given a three digit code, so asked for
another user id ploped it in and got the four digit,inputted it and worked fine.

Pretty naff not having the availability of all channels for the day though.
