sagem dbox 2 blowing internal fuse?

hi,
my sagem dbox stopped working completely so i checked the fuse inside and it was blown so i replaced the fuse with a new one and that blew as soon as i connected the power?
has anyone else had this problem?
does anyone know how to fix it or have a spare power board for sale?

This could be one of many things as it indicates a short somewhere in the system and could be PSU side but not definitely. But to fix it depends on how much experience you have with fault finding and electronic repair so that the exact cuase of the problem can be traced and identified.

im not a electrical expert so i will leave that side alone, i just thought that someone might have experienced this before and knew a quick fix. i have noticed lots of sagem's on ebay that dont not have power going to them so i was thinking this could a known issue.
i think this box has had its day.
