SA8300 NetID Problem

Hi benny,

This any good at this late stage M8? (again not my pic think it might be AtmelAces).

looks like the ground track/via is underneath the eeprom, so its a nogo from the underside {via marked in red on pic}

should be easy enough to trace from pin 4 to the via on the topside of the mainboard useing a meter though

anyone got any decent pics of the topside ???????

thanks for the pics satch m8

Can the chip on the Sa8300 be replaced with a

ATMEL526
24C1024
.PU27

I have 2 of these left over from the Samsung 2110c days.

Presumably if the one currently in there is a 512, then a 1024 will just only be half used?

Please correct me if i am wrong.

Thanks

a 1024 should be addressable if replacing a 512.

pretty sure the original 512 data would have a cs in there, if so you might be able to reset the data in the normal way without even erasing the 1024 device! not 100% on that comment though.
