I notice that 2560x1440 Quad HD wasn't in the list?

The red line frame for 1080px is showing as 1020px
I have seen films in 540px, so why isn't shown

The 480 line Standard Definition mentioned in the article was the old American NTSC system. The PAL and SECAM systems used in the UK and Europe were 576 lines.

I prefer to remember the PAL system as being 625 lines albeit 49 of those carried no content.

Some of those other 49 lines were used, as they carried the teletext content.
