record partition?

ok , in the past i have recorded the odd prog to a usb stick, just went to record the office tonight & got the message "no record partition" , whats this mean then ? anyone know?

you will need to re mount your recording device
 
make sure the receiver detects the usb stick when you plug it into the receiver.
Some old firmware let you record to ntfs formatted devices but had a limit to the amount of recordings.You would get that error even tho there was plenty of room left on the device.I think the limit was 1 page of recordings as seen in the media player.If you deleted a few recordings the error would go away.
 
well , so this is how the conversation went earlier:
me (after pulling the box forward from under the tv) " where is the usb stick you put in here last night ? have you took it out "?

our lass - "no its still in"

me- "no its not"

our lass- (storming through from the kitchen ) " its there are you blind ?

when i asked her to pop a usb stick in last night the daft cow had put in the slot on the tv

so its working fine now but thanks for the replies

note to self : if you want something done do it you`re fooking self !! :LOL:
