Rangers land SPL awards hat-trick

Rangers have scooped three honours in the inaugural Clydesdale Bank Premier League Awards in Glasgow.

Walter Smith was named Manager of the Season, while Ibrox defender Carlos Cuellar was presented with the Player of the Season award.

Celtic's Aiden McGeady won Young Player of the Season and Dundee United's Willo Flood picked up Goal of the Season for his December strike against St Mirren.

Rangers were also presented with the Best Matchday Hospitality award.

Young Player of the Season - Aiden McGeady (Celtic)

Goal of the Season - Willo Flood (Dundee United)

Under-19 League Player of the Season - Scott Anson (Kilmarnock)

Best Club Media Relations - Kilmarnock

Best Fan Initiative - Heart of Midlothian

Best Matchday Hospitality Package - Rangers

Best Community Initiative - Falkirk

Best Away Ground - Tynecastle Stadium (Heart of Midlothian)

Carlos Cuellar should also get save of the season and Nakamura Goal of the Season, why do they present these awards one month before the season ends
