I just want to warn people, in case they don't know.
The problem of blocking the R4i cards is not just limited to updating your DSi to v1.4. If you download a game from the DSIWare store it must do the same thing. Mine was running v1.2e and I downloaded a game last night - since then I've been getting the error when I try and access my R4i card.
Not sure if, in this case, I can reset the Dsi to factory settings to counter the issue.
