questions on all dreamboxes

hey all,

i apologise for this question in advance, trynig to expand my knowledge and the number of dreamboxes i own.

What are the capabilities of the 500s. is this a satelite receiver and if so what does it pick up. i have a friend with a FTA satellite system from SKY. can i use the 500s on this???

yep its a sat one what can you do ?if you have a fixed dish it will pick ftv channels like bbc1 2 3 and the likes it wont pick up all channels like 5 or 5 us or things like that .........attach a motorised dish to it and well ...............
