Problem with Slayers

I used the Slayers disk to try and install XBMC and I don`t think it has worked. Basically I selected new install on retail xbox and according to the disk everything installed. When i reboot xbox it boots as normal with no XBMC and the only difference now is I get an XBOX Online option on my menu. Any ideas what I`m doing wrong ?

install xbmc manually using ftp the version on slayers will be outdated in any case.

All the files from Slayers seem to have copied to my xbox. It`s when I boot it up and I don`t get taken to any XBMC menu but instead all I get the menu with settings etc.

What dashboard have you got? Evolution X, Unleash X?

Your best of FTPing to your xbox from your PC and altering the dashboard config file so that it can point to wherever you have XBMC installed. If your using the retail drive it will be:

e:\Apps\XBMC

FTP into your box and it will give you an idea of what slayers has done. You can then tidy up your drive as you see fit
