Prawns Chow Mein with Pineapple

Singaporean recipe of Prawns Chow Main with Pineapple. This dish is also popular in the Chinese culture. Given the great taste, you can make this dish a part of the menu.

Serve 2

Ingredients

Egg noddles 1 packet of 250 gr
Prawns 1/2 kg
Capsicum(chopped) 2
Cauliflower(fine chopped) 2
Spring onion(fine chopped) 6
Mushrooms(chopped) 1 cup
Carrots(roundly cut) 2
Ginger(fine chopped) 1 ts
Garlic(chopped) 5 cloves
Chicken powder 2 tbsp
White pepper 1 ts
Green chillies 6
Pineapple 1 cup
Pineapple juice 1/2 cup
Water 1.5 cup
Corn flour 2.5 tbsp
Soya Sauce 3.5 tbsp
Oil as required
Sesame oil 1 tsp

Method

Fry the prawns in oil.
Then fry all vegetables in oil.
After that add pineapple juice, soy sauce and sesame oil.
After that add cornflour to thicken the sauce.
Cook the noodles in salted water
Then add noodles on the sauce, prawns and mix all well.
Be careful not to mix hardly as it may break the noodles.
