Please Insert Smart Card Problem

Hi all, i recently purchased a pre-flashed eurovox maxv 2008 (black) eurovox. I get a this "Please insert smart card" message when trying to access the premium channels, but the free channels are still working. I tried flashing the box but it does not detect the box for some reason so is there a way i can update the keys manually?

press menu then go to language setting then press these buttons in order 1968 which open a key menu

Make sure emulation is turned on then save & exit

Have you downloaded firmware from Bigmaq toolbar and loaded to the box?
The boxes come FTA so this is why you are getting those channels but possibly not the scrambled ones.

I downloaded the following file which i have saved on my PC.

UFL_MaxV_Kuro3_10_04_08.exe

File Version: 1.0.0.1

Description: DnUpMan MFC Application[/INDENT][/INDENT][/INDENT]

This worked fine until about a month ago when I started getting "please insert smart card" for the premium channels. Is the above file the correct one?
