Pc Line Control Pad

Hi all, i have a pc line 2 axis 8 button control pad for my pc and every time i try and install it nothing happens i follow the instructions till it comes up please insert windows 98 se disk so i inseet the disk and nothing happens. Does anyone know what the problem might be. Thanks for your time and help it is very much appreciated.
